Workflow: How to Assign Assets to Bookings
Assigning assets ensures your trips are fully set up and tracked accurately. Here’s a quick step-by-step guide:
Step 1: Confirm the Booking
Before assigning any assets, make sure the booking is confirmed. Assets can only be assigned to confirmed bookings.
Step 2: Access the Asset Assignment Options
In the confirmed booking:

Scroll to the Payment Information section.

Choose either:

"Assign Asset"

OR "Edit Booking" on the right-side of the booking page.

Note: All updates in GoGuide are processed through the 'Edit Booking' Flow. This keeps everything cohesive and tracked properly.
Step 3: Open the Resources Tab
Once in the Edit Booking Flow:

Select the "Resources" tab on the left-hand side.

Here, you can assign your asset (such as a River Section).
Step 4: Select the Asset
Choose from:

Supported assets (linked to your listings).

Unsupported assets (linked to other listings, if applicable).
Example: For a private water trip, select the specific River Section you want to assign.
Step 5: Finalize and Save

After selecting your asset, click "Continue" (bottom right).

On the final page:

To notify the customer: select the email from the dropdown.

To avoid notifying the customer: leave the dropdown blank and press "Reschedule."
