Need to assign a guide to an upcoming trip? You can do it quickly through the Edit Booking Flow—whether you scroll to the team section or use the Fix/Dismiss alert to jump straight to the assignment.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Open the Booking
- Go to the Bookings tab from the menu on the left side of the page.
- Select the booking that needs a guide assigned.
🛠 Note: If the booking is missing a resource (like a guide), a Fix/Dismiss banner will appear at the top of the booking card. Click Fix to go directly to the assignment screen.
2. Assign the Guide
- You can either:
- Scroll to the Team Members section and click Add a team member, or
- Click Edit Booking → Resources to open the guide assignment screen.
- From here, you can:
- Select a guide from your list of supported guides, or
- Manually assign a guide outside your listed team.
3. Continue
- Click Continue to proceed.
4. Notify the Customer (Optional)
- You’ll be prompted to send an email:
- To notify the customer, select their email and choose Reschedule.
- To skip the notification, leave the dropdown unselected.
✅ 5. Guide Notification
- Once a guide is assigned to a trip, they will automatically receive a notification and see the trip on their GoGuide calendar.
