Need to update the cost of a trip that’s already been booked? Follow this quick workflow to adjust pricing without creating a brand-new booking.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Find the Booking
- Head to the Bookings or Schedule tab.
- Click into the trip you want to update.
2. Open the Edit Booking Flow
- On the right-hand side of the booking, click Edit Booking.

In GoGuide, all changes to a trip—whether it’s changing a guide, updating pricing, or modifying trip details—go through the Edit Booking flow. This keeps all edits consistent and trackable.
You’re always in control: for example, when assigning a new guide, you can choose whether or not to notify the customer.
3. Update the Trip Price
Make sure you're under the General tab in the reschedule screen, then scroll down to the Unit Price section.
✅ Recommended Method: Update by Group
To change the full cost of the booking (instead of calculating price per person), follow these steps:
- Enter the new total trip cost in the Unit Price field.
- Switch the unit of measure to Group.
💡 This is the easiest and most accurate way to update pricing for the entire booking—no need to do any per-person math!
Or, if needed: Update by Person
- If your trip is priced per person, update the unit price accordingly.
- Keep the unit of measure set to Person.
4. Save + Notify (Optional)
- Click Continue.
- You’ll be prompted to send an email update to the customer—this step is optional.
- Confirm that the updated price shows correctly on the booking card.
