Waivers are essential for protecting your business—and GoGuide makes it easy to track and manage them. You can choose to use GoGuide’s Smartwaiver account (free) or connect your own Smartwaiver account for more control.
✅ Step 1: Choose Your Waiver Setup
You have two options for managing waivers:
Option A: Use GoGuide’s Smartwaiver Account (Recommended for Simplicity)
- Free to use—no additional Smartwaiver subscription required.
- Waivers are automatically sent to the customer who booked the trip.
- The customer can share the waiver link with others in their group.
- You can track the waiver status under each customer’s name on the booking.
- If a waiver hasn’t been signed, you can copy and resend the link directly from the booking card.
- Once the waiver is signed, it will say "Waiver Signed" under the customer name.
Option B: Use Your Own Smartwaiver Account
- You’ll need to pay for a Smartwaiver subscription separately.
- You can track waivers both in GoGuide and directly in your Smartwaiver account.
- You can edit the waiver or make changes without contacting GoGuide.
- This setup gives you more autonomy and administrative control.
🧾 Step 2: Add All Participants to the Booking
Waivers are only sent to people who are listed on the booking card. To ensure everyone in the party receives a waiver:
- Click the Add button next to the Customer Info section.
- Enter each participant’s name and email.
- Once added, a waiver will automatically be sent to their email (if you're using GoGuide’s account) or recorded once signed (if using your own).
📩 Step 3: Resend or Copy Waiver Links (If Needed)
- If a customer hasn’t signed the waiver, you’ll see that reflected in the Customer Info section.
- Click “Copy Waiver Link” to resend it via email, text, or however you prefer.
🔒 Step 4: Request Hard Copies (GoGuide Waiver Only)
- If you need physical or PDF copies of signed waivers from GoGuide’s Smartwaiver account, reach out to the GoGuide support team—we’ll send them your way.
