A: You can collect payments outside of GoGuide (e.g. cash, Venmo, checks, etc.). To keep your records accurate and the Payment Table updated, use the "Collect External Payment" option located on the right-hand side of the booking.
This allows you to:

Log the external payment

Update the amount paid

Ensure the Remaining Trip Cost and Remaining Balance reflect what’s actually owed
✅ This keeps your payment table clean and accurate—even if you're not using GoGuide to process the transaction.
